  Regarding Abu Ghraib: Senior US officials were slapped on the wrist or not punished at all for torture and related crimes while Bush was president, but whistle-blowers who exposed torture and other US war crimes were later prosecuted and incarcerated. Among the whistle-blowers are Chelsea Manning and John Kiriakou, who were prosecuted by the Obama administration.
