  I&apos;d say it leans more yellow instead of green, but I can see why people would say it looks green too.

  Maple is slightly green or yellow in Vintage Story, yeah, it is noticably different to oak, especially when placed right next to it. It can work, but maybe don&apos;t use them together. If you take a screenshot of the blocks you can hue shift them to see the differences in a colour range you can better distinguish.

  A lot of people think of Thatch as the medieval roof, but it was actually used all across Europe well into the 17th century. There are some surviving thatch roofs that are over 500 years old. So it would still be era appropriate for this tavern to have a thatched roof.

  So maple is not actually literally green. BUT, it&apos;s far closer to green than most wood types, so it&apos;s <b>relatively</b> green. I poked around with a color picker and compared its RGB values with oak. Maple is around 110 red, 90 green, compared to oak&apos;s 110 red 80 green. I think it&apos;s actually more like a gray-gold than a green, but it does <b>look</b> green in-game, unless it&apos;s next to something red or yellow, which i feel brings out the gold hue.<br><br>To me, by itself, it looks like wood that has been left outside in the rain too long and grew a thin film of moss,

  Maple is indeed a green tinted brown. It can look good enough depending on what you combine it with but it’s generally not a pleasant color.

  Amazing video like always. Here are my suggestions as a viewer:<br>1. To directly answer your question, I personally would love to see you finish the Tavern, then Castle, and then the Lighthouse.<br>2. I would also really like to see you plan out the placement of your future building with maybe just doing the framing. That way you are certain you like the distance between all your buildings. I absolutely love the individual builds you have done, but find the town layout to be a bit awkward.<br><br>Regardless, love your videos! I look forward to them every weekend. Keep up the good work.

  compared to the oak the maple is noticeably yellow, but compared to the grass in the background it’s definitely not green.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOPHn3LnvLE&amp;t=3720">1:02:00</a> the main reason to cook soup instead of stew is that it reduces the required amount of the main ingredient from 2 to 1. This is helpful early on when you’re desperate for the saturation from cooked meals - for instance you could turn one piece of meat and a mushroom into soup instead of eating them separately.
