They never fixed the 2008 financial crisis, they only papered over it and pushed and compounded the consequences out into the future.

Ann Pettifor is the only reason I watched this episode. Her breakdown of how creditors effectively (57.10 ) write the rule book is the part everyone should be paying attention to — yet it’s exactly what most people ignore. System justification theory explains the rage in these comments: when people are deeply invested in believing the system is fair, they lash out at anyone who exposes how rigged it really is.<br>Ann was outstanding. You need more guests like her — otherwise you’re just repeating the same pattern governments have used for decades: shutting out alternative thinking so nothing has to change and the 1% can keep shaping the rules to benefit themselves.<br>And let’s be blunt:<br>As long as creditors are in charge, the opportunity to get wealthy remains in the hands of the 1%. <br>Everyone else is fighting over crumbs and defending a system that will never reward them.

I just got to the point where she says we can print money to fix the climate. Credibility evaporated at that point.

Nothing improves until real, harsh justice is delivered to those who have orchestrated thimese constant efforts to transfer wealth to those who feel they are entitled to it. The lack of justice is exactly what is going to lead to anarchy.

The difference now, is that many have become aware enough to realize they are being ripped off, and in many cases paid less than 10 years ago. Asset inflation, class isolation and wage deflation are causing a lot of friction.
