  the problem isnt guys like this, hes obvious and gets banned fairly quick. Its the subtle cheaters, the guys who have more than 4 perks or move slightly faster than they are supposed too

  i think the funniest thing was after getting hooked he immediately pussed out and flew away to escape the match. He couldn't even commit to sabotaging the game because the killer hooked him ONCE

This is why the hacker does not get kicked from the menu but is instead kicked from game servers with the message &quot;Connection with host could not be established.&quot; However, when a player is banned on a platform other than Steam, the developers cannot issue a Steam game ban. Instead, they use their own system to ban the player, which results in the &quot;You Have Been Banned&quot; message, kicking the player from the menu. It also seems that the developers do not have a way to issue permanent bans, so cheaters are banned for 10 years instead.

  The reason these cheaters have so many accounts is because DBD was free on Epic Games for one weekend and cheaters immediately set up bots to rapidly make a bunch of alt accounts to get as many free copies of the game as possible which is why the cheater problem in DBD is so rampant even with how fast cheaters can be caught because they just have a never-ending supply of free copies.

  Yo, I know who you’re talking about - I personally encountered him as a survivor. Luckily for me, I was also a surv at that moment, but he was bullying the Myers we were up against. Sure enough, BHVR nuked that specific account after I reported it, but lo and behold, he continues.
