  I bought an old farmhouse years back, and when I pulled off all of the plaster walls and got down to the slap walls, the whole house was insulated with newspaper from back in the early thirties.

  Don't see much sun around here in the winter the sky is always cloudy and gray here all winter long.

  Hi Thanks for. All your information,I live in a flat in England 1 bedroom in social housing I have very large windows 6 feet by 6 feet and curtains but it lets in the cold what I did was buy two sheets off 4 foot by eight feet by 4inches .deep .insulation and  cut to size and as soon as I as it’s dark I wedge them into the windows  and close everything up,I have old storage heaters but Thay eat electricity  I covered the outside of the insulation with white fitted sheets so Thay look like blinds  from the outside, it takes about 10 seconds to put them in place and it makes a big difference to the temperature inside the flat. I’m 80 years old  but want to live a few more years there are no naked flames no gas and I don’t smoke .I loved van life but the van insurance became so expensive I had to sell them .in England they didn’t want anyone living in vans thay make it very difficult.keep up the good work that you are doing for humanity.

  My bedroom doesn&apos;t have any heat because in my crawl space, the duct work has come undone &nbsp;(it&apos;s that way in the kitchen too actually.)<br>So in the wintertime, my bedroom gets pretty cold. I keep a old fashioned hot water bottle that I put in the end of my bed to keep my feet warm.<br>You&apos;re probably asking yourself, why doesn&apos;t she just get it fixed? 🤔 i would love nothing more believe me. However, <br>I can&apos;t get anybody to help me with it, and I can&apos;t afford a furnace guy to come here. (They want $500 just to come look at it! )<br> I&apos;m disabled, so I can&apos;t do it myself anymore unfortunately.

  I know everyone is going AI, BUT, if you&apos;re going to do it, at least do it well and PLEASE, for thd love of all things camping, lose this guys ridiculous, FLOATING, braided, beard ponytail! (Or figure out how to make it look like it&apos;s attached all the time!)<br>It&apos;s just to distracting, and as I said before; ridiculous! 🙄
