  in the stage show, during the cheerful &quot;you&apos;re gonna be fiiiine&quot; part, somebody throws Alex a ukelele from a panel in the floor beneath him, and then when it switches gears to &quot;DIE, YOU&apos;RE ALL GONNA DIE&quot; he destroys it, and then when it switches again they throw him another ukelele. it&apos;s really funny.

  I&apos;m shocked as a musician you didn&apos;t call out the Dies Irae! They&apos;re singing a song about death and not only are the background vocals doing a dies irae they&apos;re literally singing the words &quot;dies irae&quot;. I always find it fun to find dies iraes in media

  &quot;The Whole Being Dead Thing&quot; has a lot of variations because whenever it&apos;s performed for different events in different locations, the lyrics are changed to break the fourth wall. Gotta check out The Tony Awards performance, the Thanksgiving Day Parade performance , and the Broadway revival opening performance

  Only minor bummer about watching the animatics: You didn&apos;t get to see the orchestra throw Alex the ukelele for that bit in The Whole Being Dead Thing. Amazing bit.

  ohohohoho this is gonna be FUN!!!<br>I cannot emphasis enough how fun The Whole &quot;Being Dead&quot; Thing is to preform live on stage. My prod. was extremely small and had a budget of maybe $25 and sheer audacity, but it was still such an incredible experience. Our Lydia also started crying once or twice during rehearsals at Invisible - and a later number I will not name - because she was so locked in. And so did the rest of us, because darn it, that girl could SING.
