On the subject of how having multiple Supes jump Homelander to sell how much stronger he was: Jumpjutsu Kaisen did it right. I know we're always joking about how there are no clean fades in JJK, but that's the point. The calamity curses jumping Gojo sold how strong he was. Yuji and Todo jumping Hanami and later Mahito sold how strong they were. The Shinjuku arc in the manga sold how strong Sukuna is. But Butcher, Kimiko and Ryan alone taking down Homelander was so disappointing.

A better ending would've been that people would fear him more not worship him. His fans would worship him but not the world. So he would take V1 to to be immortal and take over the white house so he can launch nukes to bomb countries to start a nuclear fallout so only his followers and himself will be the last of the earth so his dream of being a god to be worshipped will be complete.

What's crazy is I agree with both BlankBoy and Zephire. Homelander's death scene specifically was good bc of how pathetic Antony Starr made him look with the acting, as BlankBoy said, but the show fell off like crazy and the last season was bad like Zeph said
