An absolute phenomenon of meteorology. Ten hours and the clouds don’t move at all.

Oh my how I miss this! I was born in Merced and we spent many times on the Merced river and around Yosemite. Years ago I wrote this:
"Time Passage"
"The warmth of late Summer sun upon my face.
Upon a large, cool, water worn,
smooth rock at the edge of
the Merced River I rest.
The ice cold, clear water flowing
over my bare feet,
gently nourishing, restoring
my soul.
While future dreams, from long ago,
drift through my weary mind,
a single tear becomes one
with the river's flow,
as I wait and wonder....
If this is the time
I shall never again know? "
Due to health issues, I'll not ever be able to go there again. Thank you for posting this, next best thing to being there! 💛

I remember as a 12 YO kid floating down this river in a raft race against other kids in the YMCA. I didn't win but I had a lot of fun anyways.

The wise turtle 🐢 once said, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why it's called the present. ❤❤❤🙂🌿???

So many people praised this book Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers that I finally had to see for myself. No regrets whatsoever this book genuinely opened my eyes. Manifestation finally makes sense, and the changes Ive experienced are incredible. It deserves all the recommendations its getting. Don't sleep on this!

I had to send a link to this to my friend in Rotterdam who came for a visit in 2015 so we could spend a week in Yosemite... which we did. It was later in the year so the river was not so full, but this scene is familiar. We both took photos near here. Thanks for this lovely scene.
