Circle of the Cycles: I think for me it's the spells that make this subclass so awesome to play into the late game. What I really appreciate, is the subtle way they fixed an aspect of a great spell. Most people will see level 17 feature as redundant why you need it if you get foresight, arguably one of the best spells in the game, and this is worse. Well, because it actually encourages you to cast Foresight spell on someone else who might be better than Druid to have it. You don't feel as bad because you have that level 17 feature as consolation prize...I think that brilliant feature honestly deserves a shout out.

Circle of Mutation: Still want to see someone try a Druid bard build, that allows for Mamoth-Fly-By-Knock Down-Flip Ya Off dissappear into the Sunset....Peak Style Points....

Circle of flowers has a lot of power hidden away in the unique forms-

One can impose disadvantage on attacks made on all nearby allies without cost.

One can at-will hop dimensions.

One offers the ability to swim/carry multiple allies.

One offers permanent invisibility while holding still, and blindsight.

Does it make it S tier? No, but I think it's better than expected.

Stars druid is a blast to play. It is my favorite subclass in 5e and 5.5e.

The Circle of Dragons from Griffins Saddlebag is probably the craziest tank considering as a bonus action you can gain nearly 200 health of higher, don’t need to have a high dexterity so you can focus on con, and your attacks use your wis mod. you can also fly and attack multiple times and cast spells in wildshape!!

I think Sea and Fenris were underrated. Sea is probably A+, maybe S and Fenris is a solid B possibly A-

Sea has a bonus action damage and 15’ push every round. It is cold damage so resistance or immunity can be an issue unless you take elemental adept, but it’s very strong. Resistance (cold, lightning, and thunder) and flight are also very good. Oceanic Gift doubles it and throwing it on a martial can turn you into a wrecking crew. Likewise put it on an owl familiar and let it zoom across the battlefield for 120’ per turn. Teamed with spike growth or other area damage effects (walls of x, cloud of daggers, cliffs/ledges, caltrops, hunter traps…) Your owl familiar you knock off enemies from battlements, or push them away from cover for your allies to attack.

Mantle of the wolf avoids the attack and damage issues by using your strongest ability modifier and does force damage. It makes lower cr forms viable. I used it as a warhorse and has a barbarian rider. We tore things up with crazy speed. Horseshoe of Speed or Horseshoe of the Zephyr are awesome options bypassing a lot of hazards I put down. Or just flying around the battlefield. It makes a lot of forms useful, like Giant toad who can’t bite if it’s swallowed someone can now attack at will while taking an enemy out of the fight and killing it with acid every round. Owl or deer form and hitting for better damage and force, while weaving effortlessly through enemies is awesome. The subclass is a sleeper that gets easily overlooked, but I recommend playing it and then see if your evaluation improves, I had more fun playing this one than any other Druid, because forms didn’t become obsolete due to low CR. Level 6 is decent boosts, but level 10 unavoidable damage and prone no size restriction is incredible. I didn’t get to level 24 in that campaign so I can’t speak to the higher levels but it was a great for creative play and teamwork I haven’t had with another Druid.

Hard agree unique wild shapes is WAY better than copying spells from another class.

You forgot the circle of dragons from the saddlebag book 😁. But really nice to see the 3rd party stuff on here.

I know it's pronounced devolution, not devolution, but the spelling is wrong for that to be the case, so here we are. English is a deeply unserious language.

I think the Moon Druid scales alright IF you take the assumption that you use the PCs proficiency for attacks and spells and not the beasts. If you have to use the beasts… then I would go as far as to say C tier late game.
It also becomes a lot more fun if you can use 3rd party beasts like the ones in Fee, Mortals! or Tome of beasts
