  My husband and I have three sons and one daughter. One morning our youngest son brought home a teenager who was thrown out of his family home. We welcomed him into our family and he thrived. He now has his own family and is happy. He calls us mum and dad and our children his siblings. We are blessed. Do help when a child needs it because good things will follow. It is now 8.30am here in Papua New Guinea. ❤

  I would never forgive her or her parents. She moved on with her life, created a great life for herself so leave them in the past. You don&apos;t owe them 1 word, nothing. Just be there at the reception to talk about the scholarships that you&apos;ve distributed to kids like you were.

  Sister was 12 years younger than me. &nbsp;She was the cute adorable daughter that mom wanted. &nbsp;I was a tomboy, not a cutesy. &nbsp;Mom decided and told everyone that I was trouble. &nbsp;Sister was pretty one. &nbsp; &nbsp;I decided to return to college and graduated with honors at age 45. &nbsp;I had a successful career, but Sister continued to tell toxic lies about me. &nbsp;She destroyed my relationships with brothers and other relatives. &nbsp;Almost destroyed my marriage when she lived &nbsp;with my husband and i. &nbsp;We finally decided to distance ourselves from her. &nbsp;Has been 27 years since we spoke. &nbsp;My mental health recovered. I am living a much saner 2nd half of my life.

  Boundaries matter. My family was so toxic that I ended up leaving them behind. That was 6 years ago. I’ve had no contact with my so called family since and I realized that I don’t miss them. I built another family from friends who stayed beside me, loved me, cared for me and continue to do so. Now I’m happy with my family and my situation. My life is good.
