In all our years of RVing, tent camper, motor home, travel trailer and now fifth wheel, I have never stored any sewer components, hoses, fittings etc, in the same compartment as our potable water components. We have always been able to maintain two distinctive compartments. A clean compartment for water hoses, pressure gauge and fittings along with other clean items, such as a collapsible bucket and wash items. A dirty compartment for all sewer related items and any other things such as tools, grease, oil products and any other items that I will put on latex gloves before handling. At least put things in separate totes. I am shocked the manufacturer expects their clients to use a storage compartment in such a manner. Cross contamination can be deadly. First rule of fulltime rv life is stay safe, stay healthy. If you ignore that one, you won't be fulltiming anything for long.

I would hook the ends of the sewer hose together, so it forms a circle and is sealed, no leaking into wet bay, and no smell

You said "Bring in the slide and lift the auto-level from inside and take off'..... big lesson learned...always do a complete walk around checking compartments and exterior before you drive anywhere... :-)

At the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krBfK-e6Y0M&t=600">10:00</a> mark you mentioned floatier - we have an older Super-C on a competitors chassis and we had the same experience until we had a Safe-T-Plus unit installed - the fatigue immediately went away. It became a joy to drive and also allows us to extend our drive days (if we choose to) beyond our normal range - which afterwards always felt like a full day workout routine, especially on high wind days. Highly recommend the product for anyone dealing with the driver fatigue caused by the "floatier" feel - plus you get the added benefit of improved steering control in the event of a steer-tire blowout scenario.

Put your dump hose in a black bag. Easy to change once in awhile.

Try a 5" PVC fence post, cut to length to fit the space, with a cap on each end to store your sewer hose.

Congratulations on the new rig. When we got out Isata 5 30fw the salesman told us that you only have to touch the start button twice to operate the slides, yes they will open but its a hard drain on the batteries and can cause slide problems. Running the engine when operating the slide will eliminate that slide problems. Keep on trucking.

On a sidenote, I apologize if you’ve addressed this in a previous video since this isn’t your first diesel, I suggest that you use a diesel fuel additive to add lubricity and cetane to the ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) that we’re all forced to buy.
