  I had never seen the side of Rose she presented when she spoke of resignation to her losses.  A word I would choose is disappointment.  She invested so much and they were cut down just as the return was coming in. This was a very human side.  Of course she struggled, just not publicly.

  In spite of all the tragic/horrific events that she and the rest of her family went through, she was a strong-headed and inspiring woman who has lived to an old, ripe age of 104. Keep RIP, Rose! 🌹 🙏🏾 ❤️ 😇

  Husband was a serial cheater,  he had their eldest daughter Rosemary lobotomized without her consent.   Lost two of her children in airplane accidents,  two of her sons assassinated,  etc., yet managed to push on & not wallow in self-pity, truly inspiring woman who lived to be 104 .

  Such a strong  matriarch . To endure the multitudes of tragedies in her lifetime with dignity and courage speaks volumes to her character. With that said you could still feel her pain towards the end of this presentation when she spoke about her children's demise.

  A beautiful and caring woman.   She was amazingly strong and classy.   Such tragedy she had to endure.

  She took no shxx and gave no one any shxx...she set the bar high for her family as well, no weakness or half assxing, death, assassinations, curses, whatever, didn&apos;t stop her or make her waiver in her faith and beliefs....a remarkable little lady...! She knew where they came from, and there was no going back to shanty Irishness...&quot;

  Rose held it altogether and deserves far more credit than she has been given, as men were given so much validity in those days. But she wasn&apos;t treated well, &nbsp;taken very much for granted. <br>Thank Goodness things have changed somewhat and we can see things for what they are now . . .

  I love what she once said..it isn&apos;t the events in your life but how you handle them. She was an inspiration and a thoroughbred.
