It so funny that after like 30 years they sell the exact same card shuffler it now just has a chargable battery and a usb-c port

Hah I was just thinking that the boxes bought for precon storage could work for the condition marker coins and was peeping the comments to see if anyone else thought of it when you got to that idea yourself lmao. They look like they fit so nicely in three stacks in there like that though! Good to see that you were able to make two fail for intended purpose purchase situations work out like that in the end!

20:49 I would assume that shuffler is meant for plastic playing cards that are a bit more durable. Plus it's not shuffling much over the course of just one pass. Definitely fun to see 😂😂😂

You can actually purchase a lot of items on AliExpress through their 'choice' items, and if you purchase at least ten dollars worth of stuff they give you free shipping! Most listings for a product are being sold through multiple storefronts so if you scroll past reviews to similar items you can often find at least one listing that counts for 'choice' shipping.

Also, I've been buying from AliExpress for years now, and I've almost never had an issue with my purchases. Occasionally they send the wrong color of item, but I've been refunded every time that's happened and gotten to keep the item. As long as you are a little bit careful about what you're buying, which honestly isn't too different from amazon, you're gonna be fine.

Those condition coin thingies might fit in the rows in the outer box without the tubes.

The little plastic boxes advertised for cards might be useful for yu gi oh cards as they are a smaller size, but id not trust that closure at all on anything

well if you like collecting things from pre-cons, there is a cardgame named Vanguard, that almost all Vanguards in the game have a deckbox, sleeves AND playmat.

For the plastic card box you could use the small compartment for silica packets for moisture control.

Really Useful Products sell a super sturdy box that's perfectly sized for standard TCG cards in smaller sleeves (not Dragon Shields but old Ultra Pro or KMC), fits roughly 120 sleeved or up to 160 unsleeved cards, and costs $1.50.
That's what I use for my print and plays or rogue tcg "duel decks" that don't quite deserve their own deck box. It's the only non-tgc product I've found that actually fits and protects cards as well or better than purpose-made deck boxes.

I have seen very similar boxes like the 1st item on amazon for a much more reasonable price and better quality. For the 2nd item, I backed a kickstarter last year for an item called CardMill. Its the same idea but it has a scanner and sorter built into it. It is supposed to come out at the end of the year, but I think it will be good for sorting and scan a large amount of cards!

Fun fact: the card sorter is an updated version of one I got back in 2002. This has batteries slots and type c. I had a barrel jack lol.

I think that first box would be perfect for a traveling case for pokemon or MTG. I think thats what its made for. That left compartment can be used for dice and markers/indicators and then markers for the whiteboard cards and things like that
