  i’ve also come to realize that A LOt of people can’t read without self inserting and i feel like that’s a horrible way to read because books are supposed to expose you to other perspectives, not allow you to morph every story to center you

  I love the one star reviews from people that perfectly convey what the author wanted them to feel, only for the reviewer then say they hated it because it made them feel bad. They are so close to getting it and getting access to an incredible amount of books, shows, experiences, that will enhance their lives! All they need to do now is realise they don&apos;t need to find something <b>pleseant</b> in order to <b>like</b> something. Sadly, I think our preponderance to evaluate all books, even classic works, as &quot;entertainment&quot;, not *literature*, is to blame.
