  Toda raba Rabbi, this is very important, not many Jews know and can explain such problematic cases since most of us don’t study Talmud, and the ones that do, don’t spend time online explaining it. Very important work, thank you!

  That is why historical contexts and great works by writers such as Flavius Josephus make all the difference. Today, on certain occasions, it is very easy for many of us to embrace or understand in a distorted way that which we do not correctly understand. <br>Thank you very much for this enlightening video, Rabbi. It will certainly help to clarify the doubts of many more people about the Talmud, since if there is one thing I really like about historiography, archaeology, and other areas of knowledge, it is precisely that: details and clarifications about historical contexts and everything else.

  I will add that to the point about Yeshu potentially being an acronym for &apos;may his name be blotted out&apos; in Hebrew, you&apos;d need independent proof that this is indeed the case that in this this instance, that acronym is being used here... but then you&apos;d just create another problem of who exactly is being summoned then, because the name has been blotted out.

  50 years ago I asked a Jewish friend who was not religious if as a child he had to go to temple. He said he went only a couple of times a year. I asked what goes on at the temple. He merely shrugged, and said, ‘they really dumped on Christians’. &nbsp;Never have forgotten that, because my parents made me go to church and Sunday school growing up (I immediately ceased after I left home), but I will say I never heard a word spoken negatively about other religions in the church I grew up in.
