  Yeey ure in my hometown :&gt;<br>Edit: One view point is at the rose garden on the other side of the Dom. My Grandpa worked many years there.

  You should definitely try the Blaue Zipfel! My favorite sausage in Franconia.<br>In Bamberg there is a super little brewery and kinda pub/beer garden that brews from the hops and vegetables (!!!) grown in their backyard, called Hopfengarten. It&apos;s on the other side of the railway station. Absolutely worth trying!

  Emeka, if you visit Bamberg the next time you have to visit 2 Breweries. 1. Brauerei Spezial, the other Rauchbier Brewery in Bamberg with a fantastic Restaurant. Wonderful Bakery in the next Building too. 2. Brauerei Keesmann with one of the best Pilsener Style beer in Germany. In my opinion they have the best Schäuferla in the world ;) in their brewpub. Directly on the other side is another Brewery called Brauerei Mahrs. If you are thirsty enough 😂

  Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier, has a cool story behind it&apos;s name. The brewery was originally house of the blue lion in the 1400s. In the late 1800s the owner. Andreas Graser, had an accident that injured his leg and he had to walk with crutches to get around. The Franconian word for a walking gate for a man dangling on crutches is schlenkern. Andreas had a reputation for being grumpy, the patrons started to call him Schlenkerla or dangling man in jest. Andreas son Michael, took over the brewery in the early 1900s, he changed the brewery&apos;s name to Schlenkerla to sort of immortalize his father&apos;s nickname. He actually trade marked the name so no one else could use it. I&apos;ve been to the brewery and I enjoyed it very much. I learned a bit about the brewery / tavern before I visited. It was the story that made the experience so worth it. You can find the story on the Schlenaka website. Prosit!

  working at the oktoberfest for 1 days this video gave me a hard time to watch...so relaxed - great food and a nice beer...wish you a great time here - the weather is just amazing these days
