My daughter and myself are just starting to breed and we are expecting our first clutches any day now. We are focusing on breeding for ourselves and well let go of the rest. If we can let our hobby pay for itself im 100% ok with that. Id love to be able to be a big breeder but if i never make it to that level im fine with hitting the shiws around home and letting it pay for itself. My main goal is to help my daughter grow her passion and love for these animals. Shea 10 now and has such a love for all reptiles

Started breeding in 2017, had a boon during COVID19, doing shows, MM etc. was really feeling it. Had a setback with my tenuous marriage and had to take a step back, but I'm reinvigorated. Thanks to people like you sharing your experiences, it's really helpful to reinforce my passion. Cheers, — Chris

On Justin’s Patreon he breaks down his entire clutch starting with the lowest gene count and working his way up. You’re right, YouTube gets the highlights

I don’t even have any ball pythons but I enjoy listening to these episodes.

I get so freaking tired of hearing people saying that the Ball Python market has crashed because it hasn’t and they don’t know what the fuck they’re talking about. I’m still new and I can see that they’re wrong. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/clowngang">#ClownGang</a>.

I can tell u what the next 5 years of the ball python community will be like. &nbsp;Just like the last 5 years all the tables at the shows flooded with them, and at the end of the day all the tables will still be flooded lol

I’m a car salesperson and agree it’s about attitude and looking towards the future. &nbsp; Also agree about people who started during or quickly after COVID. &nbsp; They don’t understand &nbsp;how easy they had it and why the veterans saved money.

I would LOVE to get into breeding Ball Pythons and creating stunning beauties. I had two snakes years ago (BP and RTB) and they are one of my favorite animals. But with my two, I used to get thawed mice/rats for them because I have a problem with live feeding especially as I get older. One thing no one talks about in all the videos I’ve been watching to learn about genetics, different morphs and the business side of things is the rats and feeding. Do you all have your own rat breeding facilities? Do you get frozen rats from a company? That’s the part I need to know more about before deciding. I’ve always loved genetics and my work is at home anyway being an orchestral music composer. So I have the time and i love animals. I would love to go and help/work in a facility in LA to learn more and get experience that way. Learning from the ground up is key
