The fact that some started crying is telling. people love to act like the hijab is oppression but the reality is that women are told from a young age that revealing themselves is “liberating” and “freeing” but as soon as they put the hijab on you can tell that they realized that true liberation and freedom is dressing modestly

I feel very happy to see sisters crying cause they feel beautiful and safe when we’re always supposed to show all of our skin and if we don’t we’re automatically “ugly” I think is opposite, they look even more beautiful ❤

This made me tear up a little! I tied a scarf like hijab when I was younger and felt like it suited me so well. Recently feeling like trying it out again. It’s very beautiful and I’m know keeping your head covered feels good spiritually.

I tried it on once and it made me look more beautiful.. which was odd. Even though it was supposed to prevent gazes, I had more.. and compliments from everyone. It has the look of an untouchable princess.
