  He wimpered and whined but he seemed very calm and was totally non-aggressive.  I bet he is a very sweet and loving pet

  When I was younger I had a friend who had an Akita. Her boyfriend was very abusive to her. she had a glass door and then her normal front door. She went outside to argue with the boyfriend but left the main door open. The Akita could see them through the glass. The ex lunged at my friend and the Akita had enough. He smashed through the glass and took care of that man. That dog was a hero. You have to be a certain kind of person to own an akita to make sure that you can handle such a stubborn large creature but he certainly earned his steak that night

  When we lived in Japan as a military family, we had an incredibly sweet, smart Akita that my parents named Chocho, which means butterfly in Japanese. They named him that because he would flit around the neighborhood, including the local market. My parents had an account with the local market, because every day Chocho would go over, grab a fish (just one) and eat it. As much as he flitted around the neighborhood, he did it on a very precise schedule, stopping by precisely at 11 AM each day for his fish treat. He was such a sweetheart, nice to everyone, always up for pets and scratches, until he had to get back on his neighborhood rounds schedule, to be home on time for dinner. 😁

  I love when dogs realize the blower might be loud but it feels sooo good! (Especially on itchy skin.)<br>You can almost hear him scream: higher, lower, a little to the right/left!!

  I grew up with Akitas and they were never this friendly. They were loyal but aloof about almost everything. Seeing an Akita, even a mix, be this friendly and dorky is fun to see.

  Poor Riggs - first they starve him to death, then they drive him to a tiny human who kidnaps him, tries to drown him then blinds him with a hood (the only battle he won!). Luckily the tiny human blew the winds of delight &amp; gave him poor rations (but delicious if not great in number) to take away the worst of the starvation at the end of his ordeal 🤣 Both dogs are the goodest bois!

  I think he was just getting tired of the whole thing but for a first groomers he did very well. He’s a lovely boy.

  These videos are how I decompress before bed. Thank you for the care you show these dogs and I love learning from your commentary about different breeds. This is the pure love and care I need to remember still exists in these current dumpster fire events.

  This may sound weird but here goes: I am a cat person and have never had a dog. I like them, I just haven’t had one. But this channel is my comfort watch.
