  Maeda hasnt been replaced or at least his pressing role from the left wing hasnt been replaced, although i do think Yang does offer some of that and yes Yang is badly missed in terms of pressing physicality and in terms of forward pace on counters. Then Engels hasnt been replaced in the middle and he did a lot of the pressing and forward running that helped McGregpr. Meanwhile, we are also missing AJs physicality.I  just felt Mcinnes analysed us very well and realised we are much less Physical than last season so he Optimized his shape and tacticts to Exploit our lack of physicality. The huge concern is that McInnes seems to understand our squad capabilities more than Martin Oneil, proven by McCowan starting. That's why Martin has to step down.

  The analysis you both provide is high level data review and a symposium where a key criteria is perhaps overlooked. One may plan & form a contingency for data analytics to present a strategy for alternative outcome. However you may have underestimated crisis management (if that is the correct Celtic football vernacular). The ability to overcome obstacles which defy data crunching should not be consigned to the issue. One may reconsider and embrace this as a metamorphosis of our football knowledge and application. Keep up the good work & thank you for the entertainment.

  I agree with the ‘Frankenstein Football’ analogy. Celtic have influential players who still want to play the ‘proper Celtic’ possession football, a manager whose instincts pull towards something more direct and pragmatic, and a squad that isn’t ideally constructed for either. Because the club itself doesn’t appear to have a sufficiently strong football identity above the manager, nobody has  resolved that conflict. The result is a team trying bits of everything and, so far, doing none of it particularly well.

I mean you &nbsp;can see it on the pitch, but It&apos;s like we&apos;ve been bad for so long I forgot how good we were 2 seasons ago.

  We have seen this in the EPL, teams with a high turnover of managers, the players have they found leverage to change managers by downing &nbsp;tools. 😢
