  everyone is commenting about how horrible it is they searched the teens bags….i think it’s completely horrific that they stalk their own children <br><br>you should raise your children to trust them &amp; not have to stalk them…..clearly they didn’t raise their children right if they can’t trust them to be where they say they are

  Privacy is a human right. Monitoring is uncalled for and I didn’t like how they check bags without permission.

  I can’t believe how much of a foreign concept<br>privacy is to the Wrights! The least they coulda done was ask either Nick or Sadie if they didn’t mind the parents looking for illegal items in their suitcases.

  I found out my parents used to discretely follow me on dates. When I found out, I asked them if I was going anywhere I wasn&apos;t supposed to, hanging out with someone I wasn&apos;t supposed to, or doing something I wasn&apos;t supposed to be doing. Their answer to all questions was no. I replied by saying &quot;So what does that tell you? Do you trust me or not?&quot; They fell silent. I responded by telling them that if they ever do that again to remember that I am the final say on what nursing home they end up in and I would also be moving out far earlier than scheduled. They never did. Fast forward to now and I am a parent of two and I promised myself I would never do to them what was done to me unless it was absolutely necessary.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSrm_0FrNUM&amp;t=525">8:45</a>, it was definitely a culture shock for both of them being from the north because people there just don’t use those terms when addressing adults especially. I’m from the south so I know how it is but I learned in some cultures it’s actually seen as disrespectful to address someone as sir or ma’am. I remember this one time in high school I was at a friends house and his mom asked me a question and I was like “yes ma’am” then when I left I said “nice meeting you (name)” and she sarcastically was like “oh so you remember my name huh?” (For context, they were Italian) And it was a wtf moment because I’d never had that reaction before and my friend explained it to me and just couldn’t wrap my head around it at first. Point being, I get it from the kids perspective

  To go through their stuff is a personal violation and what is exactly wrong with a cell phone?? &nbsp;Their family seems more like a labour camp than a family home... I agree with helping out but there&apos;s a point where it&apos;s enough. &nbsp;The parents don&apos;t have a good approach.
