  I am a first time cat owner of about a year now. A few months ago she got out (she&apos;s an inside cat), and she was just lurking in the bushes so I couldn&apos;t reach her. There was a stray dog that was approaching that was about 3 times her size. I was terrified for her, in the beginning. The dog headed straight for her, into the bushes, and I thought, &quot;I&apos;m going to have to hurt this dog if he does anything to my cat.&quot; Turns out I had to save the dog from my cat. I had to grab her by her neck as she turned into a whirling frenzy of claws and teeth. The dog scurried off with a slightly bloodied face. That day I gained a lot more respect for what a cat is capable of.

  I love how the first one was a raccoon just breaking up a cat fight<br><br>The dude just ran in there, barrelled into the middle, then turned back around and ran off.<br><br>I don&apos;t know if he hated the noise, was buddies with one of them, thought one of the cats was a raccoon, or was just on a mission for peace, but the little dude had a mission and he completed it, and I respect that.
