  There were so many adult humor moments in the movie, now that I’m an adult I can appreciate it a lot more

  One fun fact I learned was that for the bottle scene, &nbsp;they were originally going to say piss instead of pee. &nbsp;Rewatching it you can see that Chowder is still animated to say piss.<br><br>Also another fun fact was that on DVD, the carpet tongue shot out when you hit play. So I made a game where I would play the movie, then immediately ducked under cover before Constance &apos;woke up and ate me&apos;.

  Shoutout to the <i>unironically</i> terrifying Monster House game on PS2 and Gamecube.<br><br>They went WAY HARDER on the atmosphere in that game then they had any reason to, legit feels like they wanted to make a Silent Hill game sometimes.<br><br>ESPECIALLY in the bathrooms, which are supposed to act as checkpoints and safe spaces, but are just absolutely fucked looking, imagine a worse version of the P.T. bathroom.<br><br>And I swear, they would even play the sound effect of an enemy walking around in the distance JUST TO FUCK WITH YOU, there wouldn&apos;t even be an enemy, you&apos;d just hear the sound effect play for no reason and be on edge waiting for a demented chair to show up.<br><br>And for some god forsaken reason, every photo and portrait in the house <i>had the faces blacked out.</i> That shit ain&apos;t in the movie.<br><br>And if you ever found a TV with static on it, you could pause the game at just the right time to see that Constance&apos;s blurry face appears in the static. <br><br>Her crying voice can also be randomly heard in the distance, often too quiet for you to notice at first.

  I loved (and still love) this movie. Also, if you had the DVD, there was a jumpscare if you waited too long on the title screen. Monster House was PEAK!

  Fun fact: the first ever animations were meant for adults but kids just liked watching it so it became a &quot;kids cartoons&quot; over the years
