Do you notice that all these media outlets, independent as well as corporate, seem to be forbidden to make the observation that diesel is also home heating oil? It's all farmers and truckers not being able to run their machines, but no one talking about people freezing to death this winter.

I work for 3 companies doing home delinquent occupancy inspections, hang door notices and the like in Mid Missouri area. What I can tell you is this: Over the last several months I see more and more homes for sale. I also have more and more inspections to do, keeps going up, I'd say 5% a month. Some of these homes that go vacant , take months and months before they get auctioned off. Of the 500 inspections I do this month, 40 are vacant. Of the 500 inspections I do, 350 are repeat delinquent. These mortgage companies are slow walking the foreclosures in my mind. Keep this in mind, I only do like 4-5 counties in this area. During covid and after for months , for sale signs were few and far between. Now it has flipped.

People who say they'll pay $15 more for a tank of gas are simply out of touch with 95% of the population who can't afford even $1 more. 🙄 We keep voting for ourselves into worse situations, self inflicted. 🤦♀️
