I almost thought we'd get another video without a caulk joke, good to see you still care about tradition.

Drew, my husband and I built the home where we raised our kids. I was pregnant with our fourth at the time, and we worked so hard on that build but had never had so much fun! I designed everything down to the last detail on our computer, and my husband figured out how to take those plans and make it all happen with my assistance. He drove off to work every morning, and we put our heads and hands together every afternoon, evening and weekend to get the house built. Like you, we had no prior experience and learned as we went. BUT…although we were super proud of our work, your craftsmanship is gorgeous! You were born to do this.😊

Calling those stairs "pretty sweet" does not even begin to cover it. They are completely amazing.

If you get blinds, you should get remote-controlled ones. They are really nice, and you can open and close them at the same time, which is really helpful!

i think you have an amazing gift sir. through the entire stair build i was asking myself, “why is he using black? why leave such a big space between the wood for epoxy? why such a big slab?”. but when i saw the end product it all made perfect sense. like a great ending to a book, i didn’t see it. not sure how you can see it before it gets built: but i think you are truly gifted. you make art.

Creator, musician, wood and steel worker, and a great editor... an example for Canadian ingenuity.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen detail work like this on a house, tiny or not. Incredible.
