  I have never understood why some people choose to shoot themselves in their own foot. Some of these measures I’ve never heard of or seen, but I’m not surprised that businesses have actually moved to those measures now. It’s so unfortunate and unfair for the rest of us!

  Honestly, I feel like law enforcement doesn't prioritize theft anymore and that's why stores just lock things up. And Ive heard chain stores somehow write the losses as a tax writeoff so it probably doesn't even affect them idk.

  The problem is, we know exactly who is committing the majority of these crimes but are not talking openly about it. Crime statistics don't lie.

  I feel the lack of punishment. In Japan, most bad guys feel they will get caught. When your caugght in Japan, your public starts, and you are punished. In the USA, you can steal from Walmart, and nothing will happen. Cops don't want to arrest people because nothing will happen to them

  Japan is that way because, if you're being a jerk, you will at least get some disagreeing looks, head shakes, murmurs, or even be scolded by a grandpa. In western countries if we see someone being a jerk, we completely ignore them, or if it's a serious situation we just call the cops. And we know how efficient law enforcement is... We don't correct each other, we don't work on the evolution of our society. We are cowards and endlessly tolerant. You don't ignore the dust in your house, you take action, you do something about it. When we'll realize the society is our home, and everyone must behave and contribute, things will change for the better.

  The last story really got to me. That woman with her table of free items to help her community gets ripped off for no other reason than to be disruptive and mean. I hope she sticks to it no matter what.❤

  I steal from walmart. NOW HOLD UP BEFORE YOU JUDGE. I am a teenager, who was homeless for about 2 months because my family kicked me out, and I needed food and feminine products, I only took what I needed to survive.
