  I would say that Wally West and Linda Park are a better example than Lois and Clark. They are both a young married couple, but they managed to defeat the devil (Neron) and preserve their love.

  Because Superman is THAT GUY. And I say that as someone who’s been a Spider-Man fan my whole life, but with the way Marvel treats Peter in the comics now, Superman is slowly becoming my favorite superhero.

  The answer&apos;s simple, DC actually allows their characters to grow up and be parents, whereas marvel wants spider-man to be escapist fantasy to the point where they don&apos;t want him to be married.

  Simple the editorial at Marvel are made up by people who didn’t even want Peter to be married in the first place. The only reason they got married in the first place was because Jim Shooter was put on the spot during an QnA.

  It’s not out of money. Marvel editorial are incredibly petty and at this point just keep them separated out of spite. <br><br>In virtually every other medium, Peter and MJ are together in some shape or form. They got together in several of the cartoons, they’re together in the Insomniac games, they’re married in the Spiderverse movies, the second Ultimate Spider man series by Hickman they’ve started a family, and the MCU made their relationship a driving force of their characters even if they’re currently not together. It’s really just the 616 comics driving a wedge between them and making the prospect of them together again unappealing because of fools like Nick Lowe still having control over the mainline comics.<br><br>Once the next generation of editors come on board, you’ll see the marriage come back in a big way. That’s exactly how Superman and Lois eventually became a thing. They’re used to be a lot of ppl in the industry who were against marrying Clark and Lois, but time passed and they were eventually replaced by those more open to the marriage. The same will eventually occur with Spider-man.
