  I went to Pakistan with my wife and 2 young children last summer; an amazing month in Lahore, Islamabad, Abbotabad and Peshawar .....Alhamdulilah a great time !!

  Do you know who took in my husband while I was under for dangerous emergency surgery that could easily have ended my life? An immigrant Pakistani family. Do you know who organised a steady rotation of sisters from the local mosque to visit me and encourage me --&gt; because she knew I was a foreigner alone in a strange country? The Pakistani wife of that family. She also would bring big pans of food for my husband, who sat by my side for 10 long days while I fought sepsis. Her husband would take my husband out for walks while the wife visited me. An entire city of strangers, and Pakistani immigrants, the ones most reviled in the Media, were the ones that became like family!
