i'll probably keep screaming into the void, but Sherry is one of the only people who should not have been suffering from Racoon City Syndrome because of the G Virus remnants. That thing would have made her develop counter-measures for the Syndrome, because that is the G Virus' purpose: evolution.

I literally forgot all this when playing re9. Def makes me see her in a different light now.

My parents are like William and Annette Birkin, they aren't afraid of me getting lost as a kid, they're more afraid of their reputation and legal responsibilities when I do get lost...I feel for ya Sherry.

Leon is a kind soul, so it's no wonder he would obligate himself to the gov't in order to protect someone, esp a child. Having seen the whole Kendo situation, I'm sure he took Sherry's safety very much to heart!

If Leon tells Benford about his su*cidal thoughts/not doing so bc of Sherry, then it very easily could have been in reference to the time during his training/forced time with the gov't, rather than during RC itself. It is, after all, the time he said nearly killed him. It was only the belief that his participation was keeping her safe that kept him going.

They clearly didn't have close contact with each other after RE2R, as in their reunion in RE6, he says, "I heard you became an agent." Had he been in close contact, he would have known way back when she was learning/working up to it, let alone had become one.

I've seen the theories that she may be his wife, but until I played RE9, I said no way. However, the devs did a good job planting potential clues (or red herrings!) for this. Some of the ways they communicate bespeak of a more spouse-like intimacy. (Granted, if my hubby was out there dying, I'd probably freak out a bit more...but, I suppose they're professionals!) Not in a hot-and-bothered way, but just a deeply bonded, shared future sort of way.

Anyway, it was intriguing and just goes to show that if Leon IS married, the devs could very easily do a great job making ANYONE work!

I just realized that sherry show up only when leon is in the game same with ada like sherry is in 2, 6, 9 and ada 2, 4, 6. Kinda funny they are missing only in one game each with leon now if they kept ada in village then it would of been a different story
