I'm from the Bronx NY. I grew up in the 1970's and ate at some of the best places. Nothing like it in any established franchised place and you know who I'm talking about without naming those places. I worked at a college campus at Binghamton University and they put corn meal on the bottom. It always tasted nasty. I talked to management and said that this is not pizza. So they did away with it. I made the best pizza on campus and with attitude saying I'm from the Bronx NY. I proved it to a student going to Wegmans and bought the dough and cheese and sauce cooked it at home brought it in reheated it in the pizza oven and he bowed and said I'm the pizza king.
