  Messi's second assist is so underrated , people think the ball passes 5 bigger and taller england players but the reality is it passes 7 before reached Lautaro's head...it's just simply amazing.

  I don’t think it’s unreasonable to move past comparing Messi to other athletes and instead look at him within the pantheon of the most talented artists and creators in the history of humanity. You don’t have to be a fan of soccer, or sports in general for that matter, to watch him play and understand that you’re watching something incredibly special. His opponents (never mind his teammates) talk about him as if he’s an alien, almost incapable of being stopped. I’ve been lucky to have been alive to watch Jordan, LeBron, Shohei, McDavid, and many other transformational athletes. Messi is at a different level, imo.

  Messi is the greatest athlete in sports history. Full stop. Football is by far the most competitive sport on earth, and he is levels above his peers. Name another athlete, in any other sport, who is this dominant at 39 years old. He's also the best in a sport played by literally everyone on the planet, and not only is he the best, he's the best by some measure.

Many of the greatest managers and players have admitted that you simply cannot prepare for everything Messi can do. More Man of the Match awards than anyone has ever recorded. More chances created than any player of his generation. Most goal per game ratio. Only ronaldo has more goals but he has played almost 200 games more than Messi. I am pretty sure Messi will outscore him on that as well. Twice awarded the Golden Ball as the best player at the FIFA World Cup, about to win three now, a feat no one player will ever achieved. He also reportedly turned down what was widely described as a contract worth around $1.5 billion from Saudi Arabia. Instead, he chose Inter Miami, where he transformed the club&apos;s history, elevated Major League Soccer&apos;s global profile, and continued collecting trophies and individual awards long after many believed his prime had ended. Two times player of MLS within three years and only because one year he was injured for whole half of the season🤯. How?? How does someone approaching 40 year old continue to play like this?<br><br>At some point, Messi stops being just a footballer. Like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo,Picasso, he becomes part of human history. His work will be studied long after everyone who watched him live is gone. Perhaps the most extraordinary part is not the trophies, the goals, or the records. It is that someone so quiet, so humble, and who rarely seeks attention has inspired billions of people across cultures, languages and generations without ever needing to say very much at all. His answers have always come with the ball at his feet. That is why people struggle to describe him. Statistics cannot explain what he has done. They cannot explain what it feels like to watch him. Some athletes become champions. A very small few writes their name in history, whereas Messi has become something entirely.

  Any sports YouTube channel, even if it’s from the US, that recognizes Messi’s greatness and glazes him this way is an automatic subscription for me. Maybe this will be the channel that finally gets me somewhat interested in American football. Keep it up 👍🏻
