I don't think he's a child of evil, I just feel he's been pushed so far beyond the breaking point, he wants to protect the people who are like family to him. Could he go about this different, sure, but in his situation, people are going to keep attacking his home and take their freedom. He's fighting for his people, so they can be free. That's what I see when I look beyond his dark intentions of mass destruction. I think he's scared, scared for his friends, scared for his freedom.

I miss the days when Attack on Titan was a young boy avenging his mother, never knew the story would go so deep 😭

I still remember when most of my classmates who watched AOT didn't like eren. They preferred Levi instead which was understandable but Eren's character development is genius. He isn't one dimensional like some MCs that were stuck on promoting justice when in reality, life is not all black and white

2:17 so true. Even if you make a english lyric version of this song, the true meaning wouldn't be conveyed. But still quite closely.

I am Japanese. I don't know if this sentence is translated correctly, but this part is directed to us humans who exist in this world.1:33 In fact, we feel sad when we see images of other countries' wars, but we quickly forget about them.
Please think about these lyrics by applying them not only to the world of Attack on Titan, but also to the world in which we live. That's so cruel.
Maybe all humans have demons(devils) in their hearts.
