I think that the 1k-5k bracket is mostly filled by 20-40 year olds who drink alcohol and play with their friends.

5-10k is weird cause there’s always someone on the other team that is clearly not on their main account

20-25k is the best experience for good player who take the game seriously, 25k and onwards is where you want the achievement of reaching a high rank over actual enjoyment.. 26k here

5-10k rating is huge lottery, you either get matched against faceit lvl 7+ that wil destroy you harder than legacy destroyed 90% of austin major pickems or literall mentally challenged people that have foot fetish and only aim at feet, also theres the statrak red equivalent rare normal team against normal enemy team but getting hit by lightning while eating oreo ice cream is more plausible than this

I find this video very accurate. At the 20-25k crossroads I chose acceptance. I played in a tournament once in csgo and got destroyed by the #2 Australian team so that’s when I knew I did not want to put in anymore effort and stay a matchmaking warrior. Some of those guys would go onto the world stage to play at some point and they would get demolished by the global tier 1 teams so I would obviously have no chance.

i find it funny that the colors of the premier ranks are the colors of the item grades, basically telling the player their own "grade" from consumer grade all the way to gold (exceedingly rare)

I hit 29,100 elo last season, almost all soloQ. Hitting 30K is incredibly hard because of how often you meet hackers, as well as the fact that every game above 27,500 was giving me -450/+150 elo, meaning that one game I lose against a hacker erases 3 games I win legitimately. I gave up eventually, but I made top 1,000 in the world at one point

under 5k is so hard to get out of cause no matter how well you play the rest of your teammates are brain dead and end up winning some losing more games and your elo very slowly crawls up and then goes back down

30K+ lobbies are almost uniformly one of the following:
-5 stacks of main+ players who curb stomp every opponent that doesn't have a rage hacker
-Streamers/fpl players solo queueing
-Cheaters, aka the guys with 500-1500 hours and 90+ aim rating on leetify who drop N bombs repeatedly

I was 15k when I actively played premier, you got the 10-15k and 15-20k range spot on
I eventually gave up on premier since even at this rank every few games had someone blatantly walling
also regarding the grand theory, I am high trust factor, or was in csgo at least

As a soloq player who's reached 30k, anything in that rank is 50/50. You either get the cheater in your team or in the enemy. Sometimes you get them in both and then its a case of who's got the better or the most of them.
