I can't believe I just smoked a full joint and watched you restore an old PS One for an hour. It was awesome.

As a dental assistant, there’s so many things you do in this video that would probably be so much easier with dental tools. It’s crazy how much of our stuff is basically just sized down versions of regular tools lol.

I think you got the world record for the most effort put into a restauration, this is near insanity, immaculate job and respect.

I can imagine the look on the seller's face when he sees the message for the Mega Drive ad asking if the completely obliterated PS1 in the background is also for sale lol

That is a hell of a job you did. What most people would think is trash or beyond repair, you saw an ultimate challenge to prove them wrong.
Mad respect.👏👏👏

The way this guy moulded a new portion of the case with epoxy was epic. Such creative ways to solve problems.

Ive restored dozens of psone slims and saved them from the dump.

I've only ever put this much work into a single unit (I own it) because to the value of the console on the market being under $50 USD in 2026.

All of the restorations I sold off would easily last another 2 decades using OEM replacements and liquids, but these visual imperfections are for the love of the profession and not for the money.

Glad to have found someone who was patient enough to record their steps.

Cheers.

The fact that the motherboard survived is incredible.

The PS1 boot sound will never get old to me. I spent my childhood listening to it.

This is the kind of before & after where you go "that's a different person, you ain't fooling me", but with consoles. Unbelievable job!
