  my life was a total mess. my wife left me for a yoga guy, my dog figured out how to open the fridge and ate my food every single night, and my boss give me a promotion just to make me work more but no extra money. i didn’t sleep in weeks—until i find this video. the second the rain sound start, i pass out like a rock. i dreamed i was floating in a ocean of noodle soup, my dog say sorry to me in perfect spanish, and my ex fall on her own ego. i wake up feeling like a new person, with a peace inside me that not even the dalai lama would get. thanks internet. thanks fake rain.

  I don't know why but when rain pours on the window even in real life when you are in your room feels so relaxing for some reason. It's like you feel safe and appreciative of the fact of having shelter and safety, and calms your mind hearing these soothing sounds. It can even help you feel sleepy and ready to go to bed. Your brain stops to overthink and worry and just stays at ease for a moment. It really is a comfortable feeling. Almost like ASMR from the weather.
