I honestly don't mind Yoshi's small role because he's not really a character that's supposed to be important. He's just a cute comic relief that goes along the ride.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has the qualities that you can find in one of the great animated sequels!

The pacing of the movie wasn't rushed or too fast because it has a longer runtime than the first movie.

I love the fact that Rosalina and Peach are sisters in the movie canon because of how it was written. And it was very well written. I don't get the hate. I can accept that the movies and games are separated universes. Also I liked how Rosalina got a limited screen time. Even if it still did the damsel in distress trope but I thought it was well executed.

It was way better than the first movie I'll say. Because it has more Luigi.

Don’t listen to star050. He knows the fictional pink princess is getting kidnapped post odyssey. And there IS a reason to shoehorn her back into that role. Because she’s supposed to be a damsel.

I don’t like the fictional pink princess character in both movies. She’s supposed to be a damsel in distress. But the movies ruined her. And I doubt the third movie will be better. But it’s going to be terrible, since they ruined the fictional pink princess.

And the fictional pink princess and the fictional cosmic goddess? Sisters? No way. They can’t be made out of stardust. They’re humans.

I don't know why some people thought it was worse than the first movie which was more heavily criticized and I'd say it's at least much better than the first movie.
