  The rock happens more in the third season, which technically has a different name. The first two seasons are interview, the third is the vampire Lestat.

  Loved the reaction, looking forward to more of your videos, i just finished season 2 and im so obsessed with the show, kind of mad i waited so long to watch it. The first episode is so perfect, instantly gets you hooked

  As a Straight white guy (No offense to anyone, I&apos;m a moderate Liberal just trying to properly explain how I came to adore this Series, lol), even though I have read the first 6 books of The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, I was initially reluctant to watch this show partially due to the many changes made. I also thought this show would be a lot more sexually explicit/graphic than it is and incorrectly assumed that this would be one of those shows intended for exclusively or primarily to a Queer audience.<br>But after Season 2 had been released, I was bored and decided to watch the Pilot; By the time I finished the first episode, I was completely hooked. I then proceeded to binge watch the first two seasons in like 2 days. I literally completed the first season by staying up until like 5am after watching the pilot. I&apos;m actually pretty thankful that I didn&apos;t give the show a chance when it was first released, lol.<br>I had made the dumb mistake of simply believing that because this show&apos;s main characters are Gay/Bi, that it was not really &quot;meant&quot; for straight cis men like me, that the show was exclusively catering to a certain audience. <br>It turns out that I was obviously quite wrong in my earlier assumptions about this show being specifically tailored to only a certain audience. <br>Unfortunately, some guys I know won&apos;t watch it only because it revolves around a gay romance. <br>Despite the fact that I&apos;m a Cis Hetero man, I really enjoyed the romance between Louis and Lestat. I have also tried to get my male/female friends and my younger brothers to give ITWV a chance but unfortunately most of them either don&apos;t care about vampire media, don&apos;t like watching media with Horror/gore, or they&apos;re just turned off by the fact that pretty much all of the characters are homosexual/bisexual.<br>The chemistry of the cast, especially between Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson, is impressive. I was far more impressed when I later learned that Sam and Jacob are both Hetero themselves (Currently, Jacob is married with children, Sam is dating an actress named Philippa something). <br>The acting and story are superb, all of the characters are interesting and nuanced, the dialogue is extremely well-written, the score is beautifully done, the cinematography is great, the Gothic Horror tones amazing (I do love Gothic Horror Fiction though so I&apos;m a bit biased in that regard, lol) and the medium through which the story is told is perfect. I&apos;d go as far as saying that this is one of the best shows I&apos;ve ever seen and I&apos;m a 36-year-old that has watched far too much Television/Film over the last 25 years, lol. <br>I apologize for the long post; I am just very excited to see another person begin their beautiful journey into this specific universe of amazing television.
