It's kind of crazy we think we've found the ceiling of knowledge . Down right cocky . Im just a machinist by trade and I know , we haven't.

Anti- matter, deflation shield set a defined warp period at warp speed. However! Warp speed would tear the fabric of space time.

You should have given us your definition of warp drive

In theory, the warp drive requires negative energy which in not a thing. Also, theories about the warp drive are based on space being a flexible fabric of spacetime as described in relativity. There are some indications that space is a gas-like fluid composed of massless particles made of electric fields. Fluid space behaves differently from flexible fabric of spacetime. The gravity field in relativity is a curvature of space around massive objects as a result of mass and energy, which is like saying nothing at all. The gravity field in fluid space is the result of relative motion between the structure of matter and fluid space where space flows around the structure in a curved path. Inertial and gravitational forces are the the result of a pressure interaction between the structure of matter and the gravity field. The kinetic energy of this relative motion is stored in the gravity field in the form of intensity of the field (relative speed and density) which is related to time dilation. Moving faster through space causes the gravity field to become more intense which generates greater inertial counter force per rate of velocity change. The normal concept of the warp drive will not work for a fluid space. Currently, the mainstream view is space is a flexible fabric of spacetime, the quantum vacuum or something similar. They will never figure out how mass works and how to possibly manipulate space for propulsion purposes until they figure out what space is.

It would be more beneficial to further humankind’s pursuit of the stars by focusing on particular problems one at a time which must be overcome including radiation shielding, explosive deflagration mitigation and a sudden infinite weight gain. And, we have to solve that nagging aging problem too so we can live longer than the blink of an eye

He's right. The notion that anything is possible because some people who have said something was impossible were wrong is unsound logic. There is a bias because we tend to remember the cases when someone was proven wrong. When someone says something won't happen, there is no event to remember while it hasn't happened. Nevertheless, there are a few things people used to believe in that are now generally understood to be impossible. Perpetual motion machines are a good example. Another is the idea of changing lead into gold by chemical means.

Interesting, but considering we barely understand < 5% of the universe, limited thinking. The truth is we understand very little at this stage.

Well didnt inflation which supposedly expanded the universe exponentially in the beginning occur faster than light?and that was a fundamental piece of the universe
