  Spider has fallen out of favor and a lot of breeders simply will not work with it because wobble can be that detrimental to the life of the ball :/

  As someone who purchased a VPI Snow Albino from Morphmarket due to the aesthetic of the animal, I regret my choice. <br><br>I did a lot of research on the albinism, and it was insisted that it did not influence their behavior much. I also looked closely to try to ensure that there were no eye defects, like there are in a lot of these white colored snakes. However, she is very shy and I do think from her behavior that she has a hard time seeing anything other than movement. When I bring colored signs in front of her for target training, she does not seem to understand it like other snakes.<br><br>Most importantly though, I regret my choice to support buying an animal for aesthetic at the RISK of their health. I should have either looked at a ball python for their behavior as a pet, or gotten a rescue, before making my purchase. Seeing how many ball pythons exist now and how gross the breeding has gotten out of control sickens me. They have been turned into toys. My VPI enjoys a 48 x 24 x 24 bioactive with lots to climb and plants to weave through. Make these experiments and rack-collecting cruelty stop.

  All white ball pythons are pretty cool, as long as you know that&apos;s what you&apos;re going to get when you breed those genes together.

  My very first clutch was a desert, vanilla &nbsp;to a normal... &nbsp;I hatched one desert and 2 desert vanillas... &nbsp;the 2 desert vanillas where stunning snakes, they make beautiful pet snakes.. but yes it&apos;s sad about the female&apos;s for breeding

  Very interesting video! &nbsp;Before we got our first ball pythons, &nbsp;we did alot of research into any genes or combos that are known for having issues and avoid these like the plague (just a personal preference, to each their own etc) and i am very glad we did.<br><br>We have a &quot;Mystery&quot; BEL actually to your point about the white snakes. &nbsp;We know she is super butter (she does not have bug eyes, we checked before buying her) and we know she is Axanthic vpi because both parents were visual Axanthic. &nbsp;But theres also pastel, OD, fire, Yellowbelly in the combo and the calculators say she is as likely to have all of them as none of them 😂 &nbsp;She is COMPLETELY white, eventually we may shed test her but right now we are just enjoying having her in our lives because she is the sweetest snake ever. ❤

  As far as Carmel albinos I would suggest working Ultramel or monarch. I think they would be the closest to Carmel.

  As someone who is disabled I do not support the breeding of animals known to have defects. It is unethical and there is no way to justify it. Any breeders that work with morphs known to have defects should not be supported. I have Spina Bifida. Simply referring to the deformity caused by morphs such as Black Pastel and Caramel as “spinal kinks” is downplaying the severity of the deformity.
