  For those criticizing Shaykh Yasir Qadhi, actually listen to what he&apos;s saying: He&apos;s not compromising the deen—he&apos;s exposing why the &apos;baby food&apos; defenses are failing our youth. <br>When he says hadith don&apos;t meet Western academic standards, he&apos;s NOT saying hadith are unreliable. <br>He&apos;s saying Western academia has its own built-in biases that make it incapable of properly evaluating our tradition. <br> <br>Key points everyone needs to understand: <br>– The Historical-Critical Method was born from Europe&apos;s loss of faith in the Bible. It was built to be skeptical of ALL religious claims. <br>– It literally excludes divine explanations by design (&apos;Allah revealed it&apos; will never count as evidence for them). <br>– When a professor suggested Imam Malik might have fabricated hadith, it showed they don&apos;t even grasp what iman meant for the integrity of our scholars. <br>– We have 10,000+ narrator biographies across 5 generations—no other civilization comes close to this level of intellectual preservation. <br> <br>Here&apos;s the reality: we don&apos;t defeat bad arguments with louder emotions—we crush them by exposing their fallacies. That means: <br>– Mastering THEIR methodology to reveal its limits. <br>– Recognizing these tools are not neutral but shaped by Western cultural assumptions. <br>– Learning to navigate different contexts (academic, public, religious) with precision. <br>– Building robust arguments that stand up to scrutiny. <br> <br>This isn&apos;t doubting our tradition. It&apos;s defending it at the level our scholars — al-Ghazali, Ibn Khaldun, al-Shafi&apos;i —set centuries ago: with discipline, logic, and method. <br>Time to raise the bar. Emotional slogans won&apos;t save the deen.   As a principle I don&apos;t pay attention to anything said against Sheikh Yasir Qadhi, time and again I&apos;ve noticed he has the upper hand against his critics.
