I knew the Queen stopped breeding Corgis, but was unaware Beatrice and Eugenie gave her a new one following the death of Prince Phillip. Such a sweet and caring gesture, one I'm sure meant very much to Her Majesty.

 The saddest thing ever: the dogs accompanying their owners to their execution probably wouldn’t leave them because they could smell that they were under extreme stress.

 I cried watching Marie Antoinnette when they took away her dog. Like let her keep the dog
;—;

 Do you think some of Henry VIII's courtiers had dogs handy for when Henry was in one of his infamous rages to try and calm him down?
Henry VIII: OFF WITH HIS HEA sees a dog who wants a belly rub who's a good boy? Who's the King's favourite boy? You are! Yes you are! Yes you are!

 Queen Mary’s dog stayed with her till the bitter end. Talk about a loyal dog.

 Showing this to my 230 pound mastiff so he knows how fierce his ancestors were. The other day he farted so loud it scared him and he had to be cuddled to calm back down.

 There's something so endearing about the fact that even royals, who have luxuries most of us can't even imagine, still find their lives aren't complete without puppies and kitties. It's just adorable.

 Heard a fun saying once “God made cats so humans could have the pleasure of petting tigers”. 😺

 Being the pet of a royal or noble is possibly the best life you can have, I feel. All of the luxury, with no responsibilities. Just being spoiled and cuddled all day.

 This woman has a supernatural ability to slide in an advertisement in such a silky smooth way, that by the time you realise you're in an ad break, she's nearly half way through and and you don't feel the urge to FF to the end.

Such a unique talent, I've never seen someone as skilled as she is at this. 👌🏼
