My only problem is this... Who in their right mind would build a fire in a wide open space where it could be spotted for miles? How would this make sense to anyone who was trying to keep from being attacked?

a bonfire out in the open in the middle of the woods, Sure! That seems to be the most logical thing to do during a worldwide post apocalyptic zombie outbreak where zombies are everywhere

When we become real survivors it's both a blessing and a curse.

Who says you can't? I made this at my 1 year mark of becoming interested in filmmaking. You can do it! Just takes a lot of dedication, study, and practice! Thank you for your kind comments! Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Really, this movie should turn into a serie.

This week YT has decided that I want to see zombie films... and this was the most scary of the lot. And the worst thing -- their tiny edge of remaining sanity... and the fear when you know eventually it'll get you too...

Good job making very little go a long way... cycling the story back to the tin shack worked great, as did the minimal SFX leaving the most to our horrified imaginations.

Ya know, if it were me, I'd stay far away from dark places in a Z apocalypse.

Had to sign into youtube just to say how amazing this is. You did an awesome job of keeping my interest the whole time, even without a large amount of effects/zombies. Awesome job pulling out emotion from your actors. Amazing job the suspense. Color grade/quality/audio blew my mind finding out you used a t2i. Overall, very impressive. Keep on filming. "Write, Shoot, Edit, Repeat."
