  it's refreshing to see a someone do a "Recap" of a series. A lot of the times when a creator does a video on a large analog horror series and then a new video drops and completely changes the series and makes the video "Outdated" in terms of lore. It's nice to see someone notice and made something like what you did in this video. Keep up the videos and hope to see you soon!

  obelisk portrays something like alzheimers or the death of memory, and loved ones that passed away in such a weird way that you could never make any correlation, until you start paying attention and its just so weird that i cant explain how i feel about it

  I like this format. There generally isn't enough content in the couple of short form videos that the creators drop to warrant a huge indepth video but at the same time the lore implications in the new videos can be huge, so combining them into this works really well.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV8SyUBqfUE&amp;t=491">8:11</a><br>A theory I made ages back was that the Mimics and now by extension Elder Mimics don&apos;t hunt for food or need, instead they do it for fun. They haunt, goad and make a sport of toying with their prey in a really cruel and unnatural manner. It could be interpreted as the Mimics mimicking humans in a raw and primordial manner. Commentary on human nature and whatnot.<br>This isn&apos;t the first time a mimic plays &quot;the long game&quot;, there was the forest incident earlier in the series in which a mimic plays with the lady whose name eludes me.

  I Think that the jester in obelisk could be a representation of david to an extent. I see it as the part of him that he lost to Alzheimer&apos;s. If that was the case it would explain the connection to abbie, because he feels guilt for something he cant remeber doing, but the part of him that does remember hates him for it, which is why its so aggressive.
