  If you hold Z and R at the same time while charged up, your shot won't lock on to anything and you can aim much more precisely for splash damage and get much more bonus points for group kills this way.

  Peppy was so wise when he said things like... &quot;Use the boost to get through!&quot; &quot;Never give up! Trust your instincts!&quot; and even &quot;Use the brake!&quot; because it seems like all of his profound wisdom was significant for getting these medals...<br><br>...but he also once said, &quot;You&apos;re the best, Slip.&quot; which is arguable at best

  The key to the medals, honestly, is usint the brakes as often as possible. Slow down the ship to get more kills.

  I actually forgot how difficult Venom 2 was for the first at least 5 to 10 tries. Looking back on it is kind of funny. I remember actually pausing and going to ride my bike for awhile after getting so frustrated. I was 7 or 8 at the time. It was around 1998 if my memory serves me correctly. Good wholesome times.

  Gotta love how the one level where your team mates are actually useful is also the one level you don&apos;t want them to be useful.

  The hardest is Sector Z, without any doubt.<br><br>The fact you need to destroy all 6 missiles, while not rescuing the rest of your team and destroy enemies until you reach minimum 34 points so with the 6 missiles, giving you 11 points so you achieve exactly 100 points to earn the medal.<br><br>So yeah, Sector Z is the hardest to get the medal.<br><br>Venom 1 is really hard too. You need to use practically all 9 bombs to try to reach the 200 points.
