How is no one talking about H1B visa (& other visa) crackdowns & adding $100k fees, immediately after the market starting decreasing. No one wants to say uncontrolled immigration affected housing but how can you ignore the facts????

Property taxes, HOA, MUD, PID costs add substantial amounts to mortgage payments which is pricing out a lot of buyers in new build areas. Plus, the skyrocketing price of diesel is about to increase new build prices as well. Add in the sheer distance some of these new areas are from the heart of the metroplex and the builders aren't in the greatest of spots.<br><br>Just left Aster Park and the Highland salesman said "you can automatically knock $50k off all list prices and we will permently buy you down 2% if you finance through Highland. They see the writing on the wall and are trying to move as much as possible before the market gets worse.

Celina needs to slow down. Roads are deteriorating faster than they can repair them, we are already in stage 2 water conservation, with stage 3 in the cross hairs. Legacy and Ramble developments alone are supposed to bring 11,000 new homes to Celina. It's unsustainable, and it's killing resale of homes that are only a few years old.

I’m just going to say what everybody else is thinking watching this. He didn’t mention the mandatory section 8 complexes in certain neighborhoods. He didn’t mention that they were busing minorities into our schools from other neighborhoods that don’t live here. He also didn’t mention the crime that is coming in from other neighborhoods that don’t live here. For those of us that sold our houses that lived there looking for peace at least three years ago, we all left Because of the BS that the communist local governments are pushing on people. Sell your house, get out and run from it.

Nobody can afford to buy houses with a 6-7% interest rates. Taxes and insurance and HoA are sky high.
