This is the type of repair that might get you turned into a reputation as a miracle worker plus your credibility just soared!

"I hope I didn't ruin the dial." I got bad news for ya. LMAO. Good job on the rest of it though.

I have noticed that you and many other watchmakers on YT wear a different watch on videos. So how about a "What am I wearing today" in the description.

Marshall, you do understand dial restoring is the last thing you haven't done on the channel and we have to see it.

You now have one without paint that you test with before showing it to us. We need to see you do it

The seller not disclosing that it was water damaged is so devious honestly. You should have gotten a better deal on that, but you worked a miracle for real it turned out lovely.

I love the fact that Marshall doesnt do live va, hes basically commentating over his own watch feature match lol and i love it. He knows what's already happened but having heard him commentate so much mtg, this feels right at home.

I like the rougher ones like this. Truly a revival, this watch was destined for the bin in that condition.

Today on wrist watch revival I'll be restoring a watch that was dug out of a swamp it had been for at least 30 years, with the case back open.

I used to be a helicopter mechanic. I am not sure how easily this tip would translate to the scale of a watch movement but if you could get a dab of vasoline on the seam around the screw that is rusted in place and take something like a soldering iron to the thing the screw is in trying not to touch the actual screw. The metal around the screw will expand slightly (temporarily) and the vasoline will then get drawn into the screw hole and most times you can then get the screw to break loose. It doesn’t work every time because it may just be too rusted but it does work for rust like you saw on these parts. I am impressed you were able to reuse so many of the original parts. The green that was on the dial I instantly identified as copper corrosion. And I dreaded seeing the inside of that watch lol.

I'm going through a divorce and am currently very emotionally distraught. But thanks to your excellent videos, your calm and pleasant voice, and especially your watch repairs, I can unwind. Thank you for that, and I will continue to visit your channel as my personal sanctuary...
