The CEO is right. I personally helped make sure this cinematic universe died by not watching the movies. I did my duty. And I'm proud of it.

What annoyed me to no end in Venom is that they put quite some focus on Brock getting really sick after the bond. He needed days to adjust. And he was supposed to be a perfect match. Ann was ready to go immediately after her temporary bond, without any side effects. In the third movie they forgot about the side effects altogether, where in the end, multiple people just get upgraded to superhero status and start doing superhero stuff. What happened to that perfect match idea? If that's no longer a thing, anyone can be Venom, and Brock is nothing special.

Sony has been out of touch for a long, long time. And not just in their movie division.

They can’t blame us they saw that Deadpool was a successful R rated superhero movie and didn’t make the fucking Carnage movie R rated despite Carnage literally being the most R rated spider man villain ever made

Wait, Woody Harrison as a serial killer in love with another serial killer? Why does that sound familiar to me? 🤔 It's almost like he's a natural born killer or something.

The best part about Venom was that he actually looked like Venom. The rest are like "I'm my own Grandpa" or "it's Pat' aka not worth the life lost watching

What’s funny is that this universe spawned from the remnants of the planned Andrew Garfield-verse Venom movie. So, Sony killed their Spider-Man cinematic universe, zombified what they could from it to squeeze out some extra money, and kept it going with movies about characters nobody wanted to see a movie about until the zombie’s corpse decayed too much.

They’ve been desperate ever since Sam Raimi left.

What drives me truly insane is that they could've used any of the spider men in any of these movies and just chose not to. The idiot CEO was like "these are objectively good movies, I don't understand why people don't like them, no it MUST be the customers who are wrong, release Kraven!!!"

Like come ON man these movies are dogsh*t and just goes to show you having too much ceo leverage in these executive decisions with the movies leads to constant horrible flops and terrible effects, dialogue and acting. Enough.

Sony's incompetence is truly baffling, are they being sabotaged or what? I find any other explanation hard to believe
