I used a Hibino last year and loved everything about it, except that it didn't have weeklies. I need my weekly spreads! However, I just added a small Hobonichi weekly supplement book!

And there is a YouTuber named Alison of Little Coco Studios, who has been using the Hibino as her main everyday planner and she uses the Sunday daily spread each week to draw in her own weekly spread, and any unused daily pages, she uses for commonplacing, bullet journaling, etc. š

It really doesn't matter which planner you use. Whatever ideas you come up with I can add to whichever planner I am using.

I finally made it to Yoseka today. ⤠I have wanted to go for so long and never went. I am only about 1.5 to 2 hours away. I can't wait to go back and spend more time looking around.

I love it! I wish I would have seen this sooner. Iāve already selected my planners and journals for 2027 but hope to keep this one in mind for 2028. š„°

Hi I'm a new community member , and my name is Crystal. The last two years I was in Passion Planners. I am not happy in them, so I decided to go with something that I can try an updated version for the 2nd half of 2026. What I ended up pre-ordering was a surprise to me. The Faded Chronicle planner has the same type of paper as hobonichi, 3 different types of weekly layouts, and quarterly breakdown for planning, habit tracker, and 2 different monthly layouts. I bought a a5 but it also comes in other sizes

I purchased a navy blue Hobonichi weeks mega with the hardcover. That may be a color that you would like since youāre 2026 is also navy blue. You have me wanting to try the sneakers because I like the soft cover, but I too, am not too thrilled with the two color choices for 2027. I saw someone else commented that the lime green isnāt as bright as it looks. I may go ahead and order it just to see for myself. Also wanted to add that Sterling Ink has a soft cover N2 in a neutral black tweed you may like.

This is what I was going to get for 2027 but I decided to go for a sterling ink undated planner instead just because some day I miss journaling and I hate leaving empty pages but let me know how u get on I might try it for 2028 š„° ur videos have really inspired me to only use one journal šš½

Wow that Midori has a lot of pages, I got the lime green just to try something new when I got it I was like somewhat disappointed but I'm starting to like it I'll add a cover to it and decorate it to my liking

I'm excited to see how you set this up and whether it makes it into your lineup. I've been eyeing the Hobino for a few years now, bit it just feels too chunky to me even when empty to be carrying it around all the time. š¤

Do you already have, or have you ever tried the Midori Travellers Notebook with the leather cover and elastics that hold in each little book, since it has all sorts of extras you can add in, like a plastic zip pouch, watercolour paper, calendars, different journal types and more.

Also, I wonder if the 5 year Hobonichi cover would fit on this Midori?

As Iāve mentioned I bought the lime Sneaker Weeks and it isnāt as bright irl as it looks in Hobonichiās photos, but it is still lime green! Iām combining it with an A6 Hon for my daily pages. I did buy an undated Hibino to take a look at it, itās now in my stash for journalling, however itās a bit chunky for me as an EDC and Iād miss the Weekly horizontal layout. But Iāll really look forward to seeing how you plan and journal in it, if you do, to see if I could make it work for me.
