  One thing i've noticed about a lot of Key and Peele skits is that they're either comedic with a dark twist, or dark with a comedic twist.

  In the Continental breakfast skit, notice the front desk clerk puts him in room 237. The end of the skit alludes to a scene in the Stanley Kubrick directed <i>The Shining</i> (1977?) &nbsp;starring a young Jack Nicholson centered around a haunted hotel. In the scene Jack is told by one of the ghosts that inhabit the hotel that &quot;[Jack] had always been there&quot;. The room 237 is where a seperate very scary pivotal scene is set.<br><br>&quot;Whats in room 237?&quot;<br><br>&quot;Room 237?&quot;<br><br>&quot;Yeah, what&apos;s in there?&quot;<br><br>&quot;Nothing. There&apos;s <i>nothing</i> in room 237. But you need to stay _out_. Stay OUT.&quot;
