Heading on the Queen Anne in a bit! Very excited to try her as we have thoroughly enjoyed our trans-Atlantic cruise on the QMII and two weeks on the Queen Elizabeth in the western Med. Queen Anne certainly has a different feel than the others so we’re anxious to see it all for ourselves. We are blessed to have been able to book a Princess Suite which looks a lot better than the standard balcony cabin. Along with that, we’ll probably not go to the buffett too often or not at all. What we didn’t like about the Britannia Restuarant on the Elizabeth having the early seating was that the servers were dashing about in a real rush practically running from table to table. They were practically throwing the course in front of us and swiping it away the instant we finished and hurried to put the next course in front of us. As a result, we mostly ate at the buffet which was far more relaxed and we could take our time and not feel like we were being rushed. We’ll never book a standard Britannia cabin again but will always at least do the Britannia Club, Princess Grill Suite, or if we can swing it, the Queens Grill, which we got for our QMII sailing from Hamburg back to NYC later on.

Thank you captain! We went on the first Queen Anne cruise - not a great success. However we are going again in May 2027 as we saw great possibilities and have taken note of your tips.

We only ever sail with Cunard, can’t say I’m a huge fan of QA but we are on her in May for a week, we always choose an aft suite which means we have a LONG walk to the grills dining room, hint 10 was really useful, many thanks

I don’t think food is available in the evening at the Golden Lion pub ….hated the Artisan buffet , having to queue up in a long line because all the hot food is behind one counter was very tedious …. Very slow …and annoying when all you want vegetarian food but you have to wait in the line with all the folk waiting for their meat dishes.
